Correct answer: A. Both Statement I and Statement II are trueकथन I और II दोनों सत्य हैं

Explanation

Ancient Indian learning was very broad. Medicine (Ayurveda, the Charaka and Sushruta Samhitas) was taught at centres such as Takshashila, so Statement I is true. Indian tradition, which NEP 2020 also recalls, treated learned disciplines (shastras) and creative literature (kavyas) together as parts of one holistic body of knowledge, so Statement II is also taken as true. The answer is both are true. The key shows D (I false), but Charaka and Sushruta are standard examples of ancient Indian sources of learning.
